Trident's Debut on CBS4 Miami's Sports Overtime

Late Saturday night, just before midnight, Trident Bat Company appeared on television for the first time. The segment aired live on CBS4 Miami's Sports Overtime, presented by Hard Rock Bet, and put the brand in front of a citywide audience for the first time since launch.

Filmed at Hitting .365
The crew shot on location at Hitting .365, the Miami-area training facility that doubles as one of Trident's home bases. Every interview was framed against the same backdrop: cage netting, the facility's ".365" branding, and hitters working through their swings in the background while the cameras rolled.
Both Founders, On Camera
Both halves of Trident got their moment in front of the CBS4 cameras. It was the first time either of them had represented the brand on live local television.
A coach from the facility weighed in too, sharing what he's seeing on the field from hitters who've made the switch to Trident wood.
What the Cameras Caught
Between interviews, CBS4's cameras spent plenty of time on the product itself: freshly dip-painted bats hanging to dry, finished bats lined up in Trident's signature colorways, and raw wood billets waiting on the rack.

The closest shots were the best ones: laser-engraved branding on the barrel, model name and Miami, FL stamped right into the wood, and the foil trident mark catching the light. Viewers also got a look at swing clips pulled straight from players' own social pages, already putting the wood to work in games.
Why It Matters
Trident launched in May 2026. A live, earned feature on a CBS-affiliate sports broadcast just a few months later is the kind of validation no ad budget buys. It's proof that the story behind the brand, two founders, a Miami manufacturing partner, and a bat built for players who've earned the right to swing one, is one a newsroom thought was worth telling.
Pressure builds power. Tonight, it also built a little airtime.
Thank you to CBS4 Miami and the team at Hitting .365 for making it happen.
